      Dartmouth College alumnus with over 18 years of experience in the legal field. Colin has developed acumen in Corporate Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), E-Discovery, Records and Information Management, Information Governance (IG), Litigation Readiness and Litigation Support.  As a professional services consultant he has designed and led organizational change efforts to integrate GRC and optimize operational excellence objectives with a focus on high quality IG. He has facilitated Information Risk Management, Assessment, Strategy and Solution deployments transforming siloed stakeholder interests into more integrated frameworks to enhance performance, quality, communication and continual improvement efforts.  Such engagements have resulted in creation of cross functional teams, training programs, process improvement programs and engineering of dynamic user interfaces via intranet dashboard portal designs (incorporating workflow automation, system/process integration, database integration, reporting, records management, task tracking tools, etc.).

      Colin is an innovator of business/operational ecosystems, policies and workforce practices that enable counsel, executives and other stakeholders to resolve Knowledge Management challenges and enhance capabilities to uncover, create, grow and safeguard enterprise value.  His intimate knowledge and experience specific to the legal, technological and internal operations of Fortune 1000 companies have enriched his expertise over:

  • Quality Assurance and Quality Management System imperatives;
  • Identifying and developing value added partnerships across industries, cultures and aptitudes;
  • Assessing and navigating cost, risk and reward trade-offs in technology investments;
  • Developing and using electronic information strategies, techniques, policies and solutions;
  • Coordinating transparent and collaborative end to end management of the E-Discovery process;
  • Conducting gap analyses and risk assessments;
  • Evaluating and improving organizational environments, frameworks, operations and processes;
  • Assessing, creating and implementing solutions for high quality Information Governance; and
  • Building integrated GRC frameworks and the business cases to support them.

      Converging overlaps between legal proceedings, Knowledge Management and integrated GRC inform Colin’s methodology in resolving complex organizational challenges.  By effectively aligning interrelated business, legal and technology domains, he helps companies capitalize on risks and opportunities key to business performance and stability.  Colin enjoys spending quality time with his family.
